The transport of dangerous goods by sea is governed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) IMDG Code. Products normally exempt from land transport regulations are regulated for maritime transport. In addition, specific segregation standards are enforced. Shipments are inspected before boarding and non-compliant shipments are refused transport, which could cause significant delays in your deliveries.<\/p>\n

  • Packaging in accordance with United Nations specifications;<\/li>\n
  • Marking and labeling of packages;<\/li>\n
  • Shipping documents;<\/li>\n
  • Placarding requirements;<\/li>\n

    Duration: Typically, 7 hours,<\/strong> depending on client needs and experience. Only 4 hours if you have successfully completed our TDG-201 training.<\/p>\n

    Each candidate receives a copy of our IMDG guide on the transport of dangerous goods by sea as well as a training certificate recognized by Transport Canada.
