Lifting Equipment Training

Forklifts are highly hazardous machines which can quickly become killers. Each year dozens of workers are injured or killed during routine operations. Recent fatal accidents have prompted inspectors to tighten the application of regulations. Under the law, supervisors and owners can be held criminally responsible for accidents caused by negligence, lack of training, supervision or equipment maintenance with the possibility of imprisonment as seen in the past.

Provincial work safety acts require training for all forklift operators as well as an assessment of user ability under normal working conditions. In addition to this requirement, the safety of your employees and business continuity could be threatened by the improper use of these devices.
